Jogging is different from running. You can jog in place but you cannot run in place. Running and walking both aim to cover distance, the former faster than the latter. Jogging, on the other hand, only aims to get your heart rate moving--covering distance is secondary. You can jog in place or with a little forward motion. Of course, you can also run to get your heart a pumpin'. Jogging is when there is more vertical movement than horizontal movement. You can also think of jogging as a bouncing walk.

I have a question:
What makes you smile?, and i don’t mean laughs or jokes, i mean REALLY smile, that holds on your entire face and never let’s go, even if you want to remove that big smile, you can’t.
How often do you have that kind of smile, per week, per day, or per hour; the smile that starts when you see someone you love, you smile at that someone and that somenone returns your’ smile?,
the Smile that can change a lot of things in your life, the smile that is in fact a mask of your feelings, a code that you will give , like a gift, to someone and who will return it because he understands that code and wants you to know that.

Hey mon,

I used to lift in that gym back in the nineties. Usually mid-way through a seven or so mile walk. What a great area. While at seminary, I worked at Frankfort Avenue Shell, which later became Crescent Hill Chevron.

Your post brought back memories.

Cheers,

Chris

Well done Joe! That's a major achievement. It's still a ways off for me but I'm getting there. And boy does the running help!

Hey Joe, congrats!

I'm just over the overweight line according to my BMI, and I'm getting back into running after an on-again off-again relationship with it for years. Have to say that, among other things, your blog has helped motivate me. So thanks
