Day 46: Accomplishing Goals July 13, 2007

Friday. Got up at 5:30am today. Blended a banana, 5 frozen raspberries, a cup of non-fat milk, and five ice cubes for my pre-run fuel. That works great for me. Waited a half hour, did some light stretching, then a half-mile warm up (walk) and another 2 mile run without any walk break. Getting the 2 miles down was my goal for this week and I am feeling good about accomplishing that. The miles are slow, about 11 minutes each, but it gives me a lot of room to grow.

In all of this my body feels good. Though I am overweight and have flat feet I am not experiencing any pain or trouble yet. I will run again tomorrow and take Sunday off.
